About Jeannie
Jeannie grew up in a small mountain town in Montana. After graduating from college with a degree in Office Administration, she decided to go to Boston to try out city life. A few jobs later, she realized that having a boss hovering over her shoulder telling her what to do made her feel stifled and disappointed in her work life. Her independent spirit was already exerting itself.
She met her adventurous husband, Andy, recognizing and falling in love with that spark of independence and unusual thinking which so resonated in her. They both missed the wide open spaces of the west as Andy had also gone to college in Montana. So they got married and headed to northern California, where the mountains, open valleys and wonderful weather year round have kept them there ever since.
After Jeannie had a baby, she knew she had to find a way to work at home because she just couldn't stand the thought of putting her daughter in day care to be raised by strangers. Over the last 30 years, Jeannie and Andy have been involved in multiple different home business models. Their experience has made them passionate about educating people on the proper steps to take to create an efficient business at home.
Probably the biggest lesson she's learned is how important it is to have complete control over your business. In one of her businesses she was selling retail products online for a company and had built up a good sized customer base. It had taken her a lot of work to set up the infrastructure for this business. One day the company she represented changed their marketing policies and effectively put her out of business.
Her love of having her own online business has led her to continually invest in internet marketing training, and to develop a team of experts who mentor her. These are what she considers to be the two biggest keys to her success.
For fun and fitness she loves to dance at Jazzercise and hike at Pt. Reyes National Seashore. She also loves a good historical fiction novel!
